Today, I am here for something very special. I know that every single person has their own favorite holy grail products. But I think I’ve never actually shared my holy grail beauty and skincare products. So exclusively today I’m going to share my top 10 Korean essence products. I prepare 10 best Korean face essence and some combination tips on how to use these products. So don’t go anywhere and let’s get into it.

NEOGEN Dermalogy Real Ferment Micro Essence

Neogen real ferment micro essence is something that everyone will love because it is fragrance-free. It has 93% naturally fermented ingredients. For some people who don’t like fragrance, this Korean fermented essence is like an easy way to just get started on your essence.

The highly concentrated ingredients like Saccharomyces ferment filtrate is absorbed quickly into your skin. A lot of Korean women love fermented ingredients because it’s also good for anti-aging and very moisturizing.

I personally love this Neogen real ferment essence because it helps me get honey skin which means my skin is hydrated and plump. I just really like how rich it feels on my skin and it’s very layerable.  This essence has so many rave reviews. It’s the best-fermented essence and also best-selling essence of 2018 on Soko Glam. I really love Neogen ferment essence.

I’M FROM Mugwort Essence

It has a really nice texture, I really love how it feels. It smells super good. This has a 100% Sook which is mugwort. Sook is the Korean tea tree. So it’s really great for acne-prone skin. A lot of people who have tried this mugwort flower essence actually have mentioned that it has helped them tremendously. It’s very hydrating, it’s very mild.

This is a toner that fits all skin types, all skin conditions as well. If you are looking for something to really hydrate your skin and that’s really mild, this is something that you definitely want to check out.

It is amazing, it hydrates and helps with the healing and calming of my acne and breakouts or popped pimples, reducing possible acne scars. This is the best essence for oily acne-prone skin and my favorite essence of all times.

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence

Treatment essence is not a product that I use every single day. I usually go back to treatment essence when I feel like my skin is not having it and it looks dull, my complexion is just not the best.

I love the SK-II treatment essence, it’s a really good product, but the only thing about it is it’s really expensive. And the duplicate that I found for that one is the Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence. If you had your eyes on the SK-II, but you can never get yourself to buy it because of the crazy price tag. I would try this one and it worked really well for me. They also have Secret Key starting treatment essence rose edition.

COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

To me, there’s a very clear division between what I consider in essence and what I consider a serum. It has to do with texture. So essences are a lot more liquidy. Serums are a lot more viscous and have a lot more body to the formula.

For me goes to the COSRX snail essence. I know it’s called an essence. But I consider this a serum because of the texture and how I prefer to use it in my routine. I love this product. I think it’s such a good snail product, it’s my favorite snail product out of all of them that I’ve tried.

The texture is definitely weird. It’s a very slimy texture. It’s kind of gross but it does glide onto your skin and once it’s absorbed. You can’t even tell that anything sticky is on your skin. I love the simplicity of the COSRX snail mucin essence. It has such a high concentration of snail mucin without the kind of clouding the formula with a bunch of other stuff. This COSRX snail 96 essence just works for me.

The benefits of snail essence are whenever I apply it, it calms redness, it really just leaves my skin very even toned, it hydrated and plump with zero irritation. It also is extremely hydrating without feeling heavy or greasy at all.

My skin is the type of skin that really feels heaviness and moisturizers like it definitely doesn’t suck up everything that’s on it, and the COSRX snail 96 mucin power essence is a really good way for me to get really thorough deep long-lasting hydration without that feeling of heaviness. I absolutely love COSRX snail 92 essence. I think it works really really well. It’s by far my favorite snail mucin essence and my favorite serum.

Nacific Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence

So going into recovery after breaking out. Don’t the name scare you, any skin tone can use. It just helps brighten up dark spots. I easily get dark spots right after breaking out. You need to wear sunscreen every day to protect your spots from getting darker and browning from the UV rays.

This essence for dark spots really helps even out the skin tone and evening out those dark spots on the face. It doesn’t sting or anything. This absolutely works done on dark spots.

TROIAREUKE A.G.T Hydro Essence

This next product is in like for acne. When my skin doesn’t like any products, it will react to it within a few minutes. Then, I know that product is not good for me. So whenever that happens, I like to treat that area by using TROIAREUKE AGT hydro essence.

This is such a great product. It will cool down the redness of your skin, your skin will look a lot smoother the next morning. This is my favorite gel moisturizing essence. The texture is kind of like the aloe gel, but the amount of moisture that’s actually providing, it’s way higher, it’s almost like the amount of moisture you get like a thick moisture cream, but in a clear light gel form. When you’re patting it in, it gets a little bit tacky, it’s the kind of texture where it’s holding the moisture and keeping in your skin. And if you want extra moisture to follow up with day cream.

This product is great for skipping, you don’t want to throw a lot of stuff, but it gives you like that mountain. This is great for summer because a lot of people don’t like to use a lot of stuff cause it’s hot and sticky, so basically, after they wash their face, toner, and this is only needed because it’s an essence/moisturizer together.

HERA Aquabolic Moisturizing Water

This is something that I really like using on my dry skin because I layer my skincare. This water essence is an awesome product because I put this on my skin after I have cleaned and removed my makeup, after toning my skin, I apply this after kind of thinner essences, apply this over top.

The reason that I like this is that it really preps my skin for more skincare. I like layering kind of as much skincare on my face as I possibly can before I go to bed, because I like the process of just leaving it on, letting it soak on overnight, and then washing it off in the morning.

This is something that I can apply to my skin that really really helps with the moisture of my skin. I also feel like the texture of my skin looks a lot nicer when I’m using this watery essence, and also just overall makes my skin look a little bit more plump than normal. This is a little bit on the expensive side since it is HERA, but it’s definitely worth the investment because this also lost a very long time.

Son & Park Beauty Water

Son and Park beauty water is another type of cleansing product kind of. This is legendary, very popular in the Korean beauty world and actually, I would have to say I think this is pretty popular in the beauty world in general.

This is is a cleansing, toner, exfoliating type of product. This has a safe pH in it as well. How to use Son and Park beauty water is if you want to use it as a toner, after you cleanse, you can use this on a cotton pad, wipe it over your skin, and balance out the pH of your skin. This also gives a really great exfoliator, it gently exfoliates the skin, if you’re kind of like not very good about exfoliating your skin, this is an easy way to do it to tone and exfoliate all-in-one.

I personally use as cleansing water so sometimes in the morning when I’m too lazy to actually wash my skin, I just put a little bit of this on a cotton pad, and just slide it over my skin. Then I know that my skin has been purified of any dirt, oil or anything that cumulated overnight.

Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence

Next one is a kind of personal Korean cult favorite, this is the Missha time revolution essence.

How to use Missha time revolution first treatment essence is I pour a little bit onto the palm of my hand, kind of rub my palms together, and I just pat it onto my skin first thing after I cleanse my skin and my makeup is gone, my skin is completely clean, this is what I apply.

This works great for me. I would honestly probably buy this over the SK II one any day because it gets exactly what I wanted to do, it makes my skin feel nice, it goes on really light, it doesn’t have a scent, it also lasts for a really long time. I’ve been really loving this product. This is definitely going to be working for me for a long time.

If you can’t afford the SK II, the Missha Time Revolution is a perfect choice. Some people also compare Son and Park beauty water vs Missha time revolution.

Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Essence

This essence has a watery texture which really moisturizes your skin. It doesn’t feel heavy on your skin at all. The cucumber scent in this product but it’s not that strong, so it doesn’t really bother me.

This product contains 10% lettuce extract, 10% cucumber extract, and 30% cucumber water. The ingredients that really hydrate your skin. I was recommended this product as I was trying to find a solution for my dry skin. I find out when using this cucumber essence my skin absorbs very quickly, It’s very watery.

After using this product, my skin is left feeling much softer. My skin just drinks of this premium lettuce & cucumber watery essence and keeps the moisture on my face. This is a really great essence facial hydrating cream normal to dry skin.
